Workshops: "A Year of Good Medicine 2010"

As we enter into our third “Year of Good Medicine,” I find it is time to take what we have learned from nature and put it into usable physical form.  To this end, this years’ journey will be about making good medicine and will consist of four quarterly workshops where we will explore hands-on the art of herbal preparations.  Join us for any or all sections.  Space will be limited and pre-registration required.  Cost for each workshop is $30 paid with registration.  A short list of things to bring will be sent out once registration is complete.  Workshop location:  Carolina Reiki Institute, Inc., 112 Wexwood Ct., Columbia, SC  29210

September 11, 2010       2pm - 4 pm            Syrups, Fomentations and Poultices

This will be the third workshop of this year's series.  We will learn to make syrups for internal use, as well as herbal fomentations and poultices for topical use.  With this method of use, the herbs are easily absorbed by the body to assist the healing process.

 Registration with $30 fee must be received by August 27.
